Our Anniversary...

March 20th, Erich and I celebrated seven years of marriage and thirteen years as a couple. And thanks to some of my kids awesome grandparents, we were able to sneak away for a weekend in Idyllwild. We spent the days talking (without the interruptions of two little ones), napping in front of the fire (ahhhh...), eating great food (always a plus), and hiking in the beautiful San Jacinto wilderness (in attempt to work off some of the awesome food.) It was a wonderful weekend! Happy Anniversary Baby, I love you more now than ever!

Our Little Man Turns 5!

It's hard to believe that five years ago our son, Carson, came into our lives. His entry into the world was not an easy one (for me at least) but it was well worth every second! Carson is one of the sweetest, most caring, and clever little boys I know. His patience, especially with his rambunctious little sister, is a trait that I wish I could say came from me, but I'm sure surpasses my own. He makes us laugh every day and continues to keep us on our toes with his endless stream of questions. I thank God for blessing us with a child who has added so much joy and love to our lives. And to celebrate, Carson (our budding scientist) requested a science theme shindig. It was a terrific day, complete with friends, good food, a science demonstration, a fun all around!
